WALK & RUN FOR WISHES
Twenty five wishes will be
granted from the proceeds raised at the Walk & Run for
Wishes held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 along Milwaukee's
lakefront. This signature event had nearly 2,500 men,
women and children raising funds to help grant the wishes of
Wisconsin children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Whether you chose to participate as an individual or
sponsored other walkers, runners or wheelchair racers our
efforts made a real difference to special children whose
wishes provide them and their families with hope, strength
and joy throughout difficult times.
Walk & Run for Wishes has
raised over $2,000,000 and granted over 400 wishes since its
inception in 1988. Currently, there are more than 230
kids in Wisconsin in the process of having their wishes come
true.
We're proud to be the
presenting sponsor and thank everyone for sharing in the
power of a wish.
